InfoSec Future: Securing Digital World!

Data security concerns for SaaS companies.

Data security concerns for SaaS companies.

SaaS has been quickly growing, yet it is still a relatively new market in the larger scheme of things. This is a benefit in some respects. Comparisons over time cannot iterate and improve products as quickly as SaaS companies can. On the one hand, this is due to their diminutive size and agility. On the other hand, freshly released features can be transmitted to users via the cloud in real-time. However, this lack of experience could be a disadvantage in two ways regarding cybersecurity. There are the SaaS firms themselves, for starters. The second reason is for their customers. We, at Infosec Future, are securing data for SaaS companies, and their customers.

Customers’ data is collected and stored by SaaS companies to enhance their products, improve customer engagement, and collect payments. As a result, SaaS companies keep a lot of client data, such as Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and payment credentials, which are the holy grail for hackers.

As organisations become more dependent on cloud services, security teams must adjust to data being kept in systems they don’t control. The truth is that most companies lack visibility and control over the cloud infrastructures that they require.

One of the most severe issues SaaS companies encounter is when individual team members install SaaS solutions and integrate them into their operations without company approval. This is especially harmful to the organisation because these transactions are hidden from IT security personnel, resulting in vulnerabilities.

These challenges are taken into account while we at infosec future come up with the solutions for our clients.
